E139 Rev. Stan Mitchell was raised evangelical Fundamentalist. He spent his young life as a pastor touring like a rockstar preaching of a sectarian and exclusive god, whose tight system of acceptance wouldn’t let “just anyone” in. Nowadays, he refers to himself as “unashamedly Christian” and “unapologetically interfaith.” His work with LGBTQ acceptance within the church has him preaching love and understanding over bigotry and fear.
