E79 – Daughter of LaVoy Finicum human Challice Finch learned of LaVoy’s death – at the hands of the FBI and Oregon State police – on the day the sheriff of Grant County, Oregon, invited him to speak to local residents and law enforcement. Finicum never made it to the event. He has been called a martyr, a criminal, a hero and a defender of the underdog at the hands of tyranny. Challice has always called him, “Dad.” Now she works tirelessly to ensure her father is never forgotten and that what happened to him on January 26, 2016, never happens to anyone else ever again.
