E414 Dima Barch was born in Russia. He was a film critic and culture and society journalist there, but was forced to flee. An award-winning writer-director with his films Dead End and The Power of the Strike, his stories shine a light on complex trauma, toxic masculinity, and sexuality. We met at the Portland Horror Festival and he’s such a talent.
