E337 Manuel Cuevas is an award-winning, one-of-a-kind couture designer. Raised in Mexico, he moved to Los Angeles in 1951 and was soon designing clothes for the Rat Pack, Bob Hope, going on to create for Johnny Cash, Elvis, countless film and tv shows, movie stars, athletes, presidents and rock stars. He designed the beloved insignias for bands like The Grateful Dead. He is truly cut from his own cloth. (Note: This interview was recorded by iPhone voice memo in 2013)
